He is proud to represent clients throughout the state and nation in their criminal and firearm matters.

In his practice as a criminal defense attorney Tom has successfully negotiated multiple count felony cases to dismissals, reduced drunk driving offenses to reckless driving citations, reduced felonies to misdemeanors, reduced prospective felonies to non-criminal tickets, and achieved favorable results for his clients at trial and outside the courtroom.

Tom edited the book, “Wisconsin Guide for Armed Citizens” by the National Association of Certified Firearm Instructors, and serves as a legal Q&A expert on various radio shows and stations, from Newstalk 1130 WISN and the Vicki McKenna talk radio show, 1310 WIBA, and National Public Radio, for topics including criminal defense, constitutional law, defensive force use, castle doctrine, open carry, and conceal carry. Tom has further written for multiple news outlets and organizations within the same areas of law. He also has spoken and lectured on these subjects to college and graduate students in the classroom and has advised other attorneys on these and other issues.
