Robbie Rohl

Robbie is a trial attorney with Johnson Eiesland Law Offices in Rapid City, South Dakota.  Robbie is passionate about representing people.  He has dedicated his career to zealously advocating for his clients while demonstrating the utmost professionalism and ethical advocacy.  Robbie vigilantly remains a student of the criminal and civil jury systems and continuously strives to become a better advocate for his clients.
Prior to joining Johnson Eiesland Law Offices, Robbie’s practice has been focused on representing people charged with crimes.  Robbie has represented people charged in both Federal and State Courts. Most notably, Robbie obtained an outright acquittal at jury trial defending his client against charges carrying life imprisonment and substantial mandatory minimums if convicted.  Robbie has also helped shaped the status of South Dakota’s DUI Law and voluntary consent in a Fourth Amendment context.  See State v. Medicine, 2015 S.D. 45.  The South Dakota Supreme Court agreed that his client’s Fourth Amendment rights were violated and suppressed use of blood alcohol level evidence as being obtained in violation of the Constitution.

Robbie is committed to continuing his legal education and volunteering for the benefit of his clients, the legal profession, and the Rapid City Community.  Robbie has served on the Board of Governors for the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association since 2012.  Robbie is a Graduate of the South Dakota Trial Academy; a member of the Order of Barristers (Martindale – Hubbel distinction); a member of the South Dakota Criminal Defense Bar; and a member of the Pennington County Bar Association.  Robbie serves the community of Rapid City as a Board Member for the Black Hills Humane Society.
