Mr. Aaron Pembleton is the founder and principal attorney at Pembleton Law Firm, PLLC.  Mr. Pembleton practices all areas of law with an emphasis on criminal defense, family law and estate planning.

Prior to establishing Pembleton Law Firm, Mr. Pembleton worked as an assistant district attorney in District 10 – Osage County (2010), and District 11 – Washington County (2011 – 2014) and Nowata County (2014 – 2015).  As an assistant district attorney, Mr. Pembleton handled over two thousand cases.  These cases included lewd molestation, child abuse, drug trafficking, rape and murder.  He also handled appeals to the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals for juvenile deprived cases.

Mr. Pembleton graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2006 with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural and applied economics.  While attending Texas Tech University, he received the opportunity to be a U.S. Congressional intern for Randy Neugebauer through the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the generosity of the rural community.  During the internship, Mr. Pembleton saw first hand how the law effects regular, hard working people’s daily lives.  During this time, he decided he was going to aid the types of communities that gave him the opportunity to go Washington, D.C.  Mr. Pembleton has remained steadfast in this commitment by continually serving the rural communities of northeast Oklahoma.

In 2010, Mr. Pembleton graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.  While at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Pembleton was a graduate student senator and parliamentarian.  He also served on the career services student advisory board.  He received high honors in property law as well as individual income tax.  Mr. Pembleton was a member of Phi Delta Phi honor society.  He was admitted to the Order of Solicitors for his work on the arbitration and negotiation teams.  He also participated in the Oxford University study abroad program.

Mr. Pembleton was appointed Oklahoma Bar Association Young Lawyer Division Board of Governors in 2011 and continues to serve on the board to this day.  He is the Washington County Bar Association Vice-President for 2016.
